Gentry Academy, in Vadnais Heights
on the Vadnais Sports Center campus,

school for grades 5 – 12. A dynamic

W.I.N. (What I Need) time schedule.

AFSA’s purpose provides agricultural
literacy to urban and suburban
populations. The High School includes
career opportunities in five areas of
science, including: Engineering; Animal
Science; Plant Science; Environmental
Science; and Food Science. AFSA
Middle School opened in 2014, and in
2017 the school was approved to add
K – 4 grades.
In 2016 – 2017, AFSA students earned
225 University of Minnesota credits
and performed over 3,500 hours of
community service. AFSA’s Fall and
Spring Farm and Community Service
Days are a great success with Twin Cities
agribusinesses, farms and parks that
AFSA serves.

The W.I.N. time schedule allows
students to direct their learning daily
and garner real-world skills through
schools of discipline: academics, arts,
athletics, and corporate integration and
entrepreneurship.
Students have the opportunity to
participate on Gentry Galaxy or Gentry
Stars athletic teams to further facilitate
growth, build relationships and acquire
leadership skills.
