Take the first step to reduce fraud You need to determine whether or not fraud has truly occurred. When making that determination, it’s important to differentiate between inadvertent violations and those carried out with deliberate criminal intent. “Did you do this on purpose – or was it a mistake?” We will be introducing many elements to heighten your fraud awareness in this series. If you have already been a victim, this series will show you how to prevent a recurrence. There will be very little fraud in your practice if your staff members know the rules and are aware that they could be monitored. Yes, we at Dental Office Network are still in the transition busi- ness. We have decades of experience and hundreds of successful transition stories. Our own private practice ownership experi- ences, along with extensive training not matched by any other practice sales organization, truly entitle us to the designation of “Transition Specialists.” We see what no one else sees. We inter- cept potential practice problems and often correct them on the spot, impressing our buyers and sellers. The majority of our docs become entrepreneurs and millionaires with us as their “eyes and ears.” Still, no practice is 100% safe from fraud. Every doc- tor has to make ongoing corrections to continue to reduce its in- cidence. We often need to point the way! Dr. Richard Lyschik’s practice transi- tion, staff training and doctor coaching services are customized for the single dentist, as well as the multi-practice owner and entrepreneur. His Dental Office Network Team has helped thou- sands of dentists acquire, expand, merge, and build from the ground up. Retiring, disabled, “burned out”, and relocating dentists have sold their practices with dignity and for top dollar. The Dental Office Network Team has broken numerous national sales records – just ask any major lender! The Practice Rescue Department additionally offers expertise with fraud detection, policy, and compliance issues, and has resurrected practices in demise. Our Practice Rescue experts have lectured across the coun- try on healthcare fraud to sold-out crowds. To discuss your practice’s fu- ture pathways, its income security, and your ultimate transition plans, or if you need expertise with a current critical practice related emergency, work only with a Premier Transition Specialist; a seasoned dentist who “speaks your language.” Contact Richard V.
