Another new chapter is about to unfold in Sloan Hildebrand’s life
and he is embracing it with the same positive enthusiasm – he is
excited about this new phase in his prosthodontic practice as he
embarks on a joint venture between himself and Drs. Rich Derksen
and Frank Higginbottom. Hildebrand completed his prosthetic
residency at Baylor, as did Dr. Derksen, while Dr. Higginbottom
served as a professor in their program. This precisely planned
partnership represents a professional culmination of lifelong
friendships and the beginning of a new team of elite prosthetic
specialists. Sloan notes, “We are looking forward to working to-
gether and doing life together as colleagues and good friends.
I am particularly excited about working alongside Frank and Rich
as I respect them both in and out of dentistry. I think there is
always strength in numbers as long as those numbers have the
same ethics, goals, and drive. My dad also deeply respected
Dr. Higginbottom. They were colleagues and friends who consis-
tently held one another to the highest standards in dentistry and
life. I intend on taking everything I learned from my father as a
child, on the soccer pitch, in the global mission field, and in our
private practice and implementing those positive attributes in this
next chapter. As I step into this new season of my prosthodontic
career, I‘m excited and hopeful – and I’ll never stop exploring and
reaching out to help those in need. For me, there will always be
‘One More Trip’ and to God be the glory."
