Q: What is the purpose of this issue? A: North Texas Dentistry salutes the world of dentistry. The Special Issue will examine this noble profession by looking at where it has been… where it is… where it is going. Our goal is to create a collection of memories and outline expectations for the practice of dentistry as the future unfolds. Q: Who should be part of this issue? A: Dentists and industry professionals who are shaping the present and future of dentistry in the North Texas dental community. Q: How will the issue be formatted? A: There will be three sections: The Past, The Present and The Future. Q: What will make up The Past? A: North Texas Dentistry would like to have contributions from its readers for this section in an effort to create a timeline of past events and landmarks. Photos and anecdotal accounts will add a personal and local touch to this section. Q: What will make up The Present? A: This section will be the largest section in the issue and will highlight professionals in dentistry that make the practice of dentistry successful. It will include construction, real estate, finances, practice management, laboratories, implants, technology and more. Q: What will make up The Future? A: The Future will examine new products and treatments that will shape the way dentistry is practiced in the future. Upcoming changes in private practice and corporate dentistry will also be explored. Q: How will dentists be showcased in this issue? Custom Profiles will highlight dentists who incorporate cutting edge technology and treatments in the practice of dentistry. In addition, dentists who have developed their own treatment procedures will be featured. Q: What marketing options do I have? A: Print advertising and Custom Profiles will spotlight dentists, industry professionals, companies and products. Some Profiles may include the past, present and future of a particular profession or business. Q: What other editorial will be part of the guide? A: The editorial team of North Texas Dentistry will contribute additional content to complete each section. Q: What is the deadline for this Special Issue?
