Thomas W. Dawson, DDS has been in
practice for over 40 years. He maintains a
practice in Mansfield, Texas limited to complex restorative dentistry. His patients come
by referral or patients seeking second
opinions regarding complex treatment.
Dr. Dawson has taught and served in
almost every capacity at the L. D. Pankey
Institute for 30 years. He recently was appointed to the Senior Faculty of the Dawson Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Dr. Dawson is heading up the Implant Curriculum and will be holding all of the hands-on implant courses for the Dawson
Academy in Mansfield, Texas.

When Dr. Dawson first set out to build a new
home for his practice, he seized an irresistible real
estate opportunity. “I built a 2600-square foot
facility with four operatories, which was really
more office than I needed. I decided to lease
1,300 square feet, fully equipped, by the day to a
periodontist and an endodontist. It turned out to
be a great opportunity for all of us. Now, the
periodontist who leased the space is building a
new facility because the practice has grown so
fast. I believe this model of real estate investment
could be duplicated on the fringes of rural communities, and would be a tremendous benefit to
doctors, patients, and communities.”
