When Fuji launched its new Removables
Department, they made sure that the
same attention to detail and masterful
craftsmanship that goes into every Fuji
crown and bridge restoration would be
in place when creating removable restorations. Every product that Fuji offers is
proudly made in the USA.
The decision to incorporate removables
into the Fuji repertoire was made with the
same care and meticulous planning that
underlies every Fuji product. Estep notes,
“We recognized a growing need for high
quality removable appliances in the industry, especially as the tide shifts towards new technologies like Hybrid
Dental Implant Dentures. We evaluated
the newest CAD/CAM technology by
Amann Girrbach, which is already being
used in Europe. This company recently
introduced the first milling system to produce dentures in the U.S., and we have
made the decision to incorporate it into
our lab. The technology allows us to mill
the wax and teeth with tremendous consistency, precision, quality, function and
efficiency. The removables are engineered
and the teeth are set with the aid of specialized computer software. The provisional restoration is sent to the dentist for
try-in, the bite is refined, then the restoration is sent back to us for processing.”
Estep adds, “We created our Removables
Department with a great deal of thoughtful planning. To complement the latest
advanced technology, we brought in one
of the industry’s top removables technicians, Michael Dudley, CDT.”
Michael Dudley was practically born in a
removables lab. His father, Bill Dudley, has
been providing dentures and partial dentures for adults for more than 45 years in
Shreveport, LA. Michael was born in 1975,
the middle of three boys who all grew up
n Increased convenience when setting up and waxing up
n Elimination of sources of error and gaps in knowledge when setting up
n Full reproducibility of dentures
n Approximately 60% savings in working time when setting up
n Increased reliability as adjustments are possible after try-in
to become specialists in removable dental
restorations as well as Certified Dental
Technicians. As owner and operator of a
removable dental lab and consultant to
many dentists, Michael’s father Bill taught
his sons the best practices in creating
high quality and affordable removable
dental appliances.
Fuji’s Leadership and Customer Service Team takes pride in
providing you with 1st Class service with a smile.
“This is an exciting and transformative
development that we expect to have a
profound impact on the way removable
restorations are created. We look forward
to serving our clients and enhancing their
success by continuing to offer them the
best laboratory methods and expertise.”
