43rd Annual Members’ Luncheon
For 40 years, DFW International Airport has connected
North Texans to adventures across the world. During the North
Texas Commission’s 43rd Annual Members’ Luncheon, the
celebration of four decades of “the new big airport’s” service
to our region culminated with 900 business and community
leaders gathered together.

Kicking-off the celebration, internationally-acclaimed Cliburn
pianist, Tomoki Sakata, treated the nearly sold-out audience to a
private concert. Also, DFW International Airport CEO, Sean Donohue,
took the stage to discuss the future of the airport. Our keynote
speakers Gary Knell, President and CEO of National Geographic, and
Spencer Wells, Explorer-in-Residence for the National Geographic
Society, concluded the luncheon by encouraging residents of the
North Texas region to go out and “Find Your Adventure.”
