I
was raised in Churchville, Maryland. I
learned to fish at a young age on the
Chesapeake Bay and Farm ponds in the
area. North Idaho has always been a
second home to me. I spent many summers
on my family’s farm. I learned to fly fish on
the surrounding rivers and streams. I made
Coeur d’ Alene home in 2010. When I am not
out chasing fish with a fly rod, I enjoy bird
hunting and working on the farm.
Q : Favorite North Idaho Setup?
A: My favorite North Idaho setup is a double
nymph rig. I prefer a heavy Stonefly Nymph
as my top bug, and for my bottom bug I will
tend to go with a small Mayfly Nymph.
