lint was born and raised in
the Yakima Valley in Prosser,
WA. He came by his love of the
outdoors naturally, through a
long line of family members who have
made it their life. He graduated from
Prosser High School and attended Walla
Walla Community College, majoring in
Irrigation Technology. In his youth, he
also tried his hand at riding bareback
horses, participating in the National
High School Rodeo Association. After
community college, he went to work
in the farming industry and guiding
fly anglers on the side starting in the
late 90’s to the early 00’s. He started
guiding full time for Red’s Fly Shop on
the Yakima River in 2004 through 2006.
After a short hiatus to do some farming,
he has guided part-time for both Red’s
and his Dad, Owner of Griff’s Fly Fishing
Adventures LLC , during the past 2 or 3
years.
He started fly fishing at about 8 or 9
years old and has never looked back.
