As trout Spey evolves , North 40 wants to share all these great innovations and help anglers understand the method . That ’ s why we put on Spey Clave 2.0 in April , right along the banks of Montana ’ s Missouri River . We brought all the new trout Spey rods and matching lines with us , and manufacture sent their pros to teach Spey casting styles and techniques , all with the underlying theme of making things fun and opening channels for continued learning and growth in our favorite pursuit .

It can be challenging to walk into a fly shop and pick a trout Spey outfit . There are lots of choices , and for many of us that causes a bit of confusion . Having the chance to demo rods and lines with industry pros from the best manufacturers is a rare opportunity . We provided our regional trout anglers with that opportunity . Winston , Loop , G . Loomis , Sage , Redington , and Echo joined us in our mission .
