A program of the Kauffman Foundation, 1 Million Cups is designed to educate, engage and inspire entrepreneurs. We celebrate the first anniversary of Norman’s chapter launch in April. Finally, for retailers reading this magazine, I want to encourage you to participate in our second annual city- wide Summer Sidewalk Sale on July 18 to 20. Last year, in partnership with the Norman Transcript, the Norman Chamber, and others, we reincarnated this shopping event that hadn’t been held in Norman since sometime in the 1990’s. From local “mom & pop” shops to national retailers, over 75 participants set up sales on the sidewalk, in tents in their parking lots, or inside.
