The Eastside Business Association of Norman, in partnership with the Hotel and Conference Center at NCED, invites you to a fun new Cinco De Mayo Celebration! This all-ages event will be held Sunday May 5, 2019 at 3 p.m. Join us for “Reto De Azul” (The Race to Blue), a five-match professional wrestling event featuring the nation’s best-known Lucha Libre Wrestlers, including the World Famous Blue Demon! Wrestlers Feugo Del Sol, Drake Gallows, Prince Mahalli, Dirty Andy Dalton, Dapper Garcia, and more will battle in a Royal Rumble for the honor of facing the Blue Demon in the main event! We encourage and welcome everyone to venture out and enjoy some of our upcoming events.  In 2019 we are excited to host several new events in addition to historical district events many have made tradition over the years.  Campus Corner will be hosting our first annual, Family Day on the Corner, which will run in conjunction with OU’s Spring Game. This is one of many events we will offer as we strive to create a variety of family friendly activities for the community.  Along with our district merchants, we will present several vendors from the area including HeyDay, IFly, Westwood Family Aquatic Center, The G.O.A.T. Beef Jerky Company and more.   Each vendor will have unique activities and numerous giveaways will occur throughout the event, creating an energetic and spirited experience before the yearly Spring Game on April 13th.  Join us for a complimentary fun filled day beginning at 10am.  On April 27th, be on the lookout for your favorite super hero with another Campus Corner pub crawl coming your way. The Marvel Universe will take over Campus Corner as we celebrate the release of the Avengers: Endgame. Watch for upcoming details on the Marvel Pub Crawl by making sure you follow and like all of our social media accounts and the Campus Corner website ( May 4th is a historical day in Norman as we celebrate Norman Pride’s second annual Pride Festival in the district.  This is just one of many activities that will occur in Norman over the Pride celebration weekend.  Join us from 10 am to 11 pm for an exciting day full of live music, entertainment, children’s activities, art and vendors from across the state.  This event in addition to your local favorites will provide plenty of things for you to do throughout the day.
