start off your career.

Within London so many designers delivered great shows this year, from the TopShop Unique show all the way to the uber sparkly Ashish show - I must admit, I was furily entertained! The main highlight within London for me would most probably have to be the SS15 Lacoste show. From streamlined to block colours, this show really embodied sportswear to it’s fullest potential to me. I also found the Burberry show quite prominent in its trademark bohemian inspired looks, for me the entire collection was flawless, effortless and extremely on trend -definitely one of my favorites!

Next stop Milan! Milan every year delivers the goods, rom Versace to D&G, 2015 was no different. What stood out to me this season within the Milan shows was the clean, sophisticated beauty which each designer successfully showcased. My favorite show this season would definitely have to be D&G. To put on a show which demonstrated a series of models looking almost identical and to have them walk in such a army formation, it was truly incredible to see. With such an elaborate show, it was impressive that the entire production didn’t overshadow the beautiful garments. From rich reds to crisp white shirts D&G definitely showcase a cohesive collection which exceeded my expectation for the brand.

To bring to a close fashion week, we end with none other than Paris. Paris fashion week always set the tone of what it is predicted to come within the new year of fashion. From shows such as Elie Saab to Alexandre Vauthier, this SS15 season was incredible for Paris. One of the shows which really caught my attention was the Rodarte show. Having not previously paid a tremendous amount of attention to Rodarte’s previous shows, i was presently surprised by this season for the brand. From their use of intricate materials to their colour palette, this SS15 collection clearly demonstrated a sense of beauty and

70’s realness. One other show i admired was the Balenciaga show. Having been a huge fan of Alexander Wang on his own brand a venture, i’ve also followed his career choice in regards to Balenciaga. this show to me was

extremely futuristic yet still had a modern, wearable essence. These shows were true highlights for me.

Overall, i feel 2015 was an amazing year for the fashion world. Not only did we have the chance to experience trends to come but we also were shown several interpretations of current modern styles. For the new year, im excited to witness the inspirations for the collections, i'm excited to see the entire productions of shows and how each brand strives to exceed SS15 current collections.
