NOAH_Ethnographic District
City Context
Yerevan is the administrative, cultural, artistic and
industrial centre of Armenia. This gateway city
is well-connected via the Zvartnots International
Airport. Road links connect the city to various
regions within the country.
One of the oldest continuously inhabited city ,
Yerevan has seen many layers of history and
undergone considerable transformation over this
period of time. Situating the NOAH Ethnographic
District in Yerevan is of huge advantage for
attracting necessary tourists’ footfall but also
attract ‘locals’ to a new destination. Synergies
can be established with various institutions and
organizations to help grow NOAH into a major
socio-cultural hub of not just the city, but the
country.
