FROM THE EDITOR...
THE LAST OF ITS KIND
A
change is necessary. As I mentioned last month, the cost
of hosting NM CliQ Magazine on Joomag has become
prohibitive.

Beginning next month, with the November Issue, I will be changing hosting services, from
Joomag to MagCloud. This is a BIG decision because it effects so many aspects of the magazine.
Changing hosting services will require the magazine format be altered from the current A4,
8.3" x 11.7" European standard, to the 8.5" x 11" U.S. standard. Although that change will have
the greatest impact on me and how I lay out the majority of the magazine, it will also require that
all Personal Pages be redone to fit the new layout.
All previous subscriptions to the magazine will be lost. If you were a subscriber to the
magazine on Joomag, you will need to re-subscribe once the changeover takes effect to ensure
you continue to get notices of the new releases. I am still uncertain whether the previous issues
will be available for viewing and purchase on Joomag once the subscription ends. I suggest if you
were thinking about ordering a back issue, you take care of that quickly.
Digital versions of the magazine now cost $1.00. If you are reading this, you already now that
I have implemented this change with the current issue. Let me just say that it was necessary if
the magazine was to continue.
It is my intent going forward to produce three issues per month: On the 1st of the month I will
release the FULL magazine which will contain all the content and all the Personal Pages and
advertising. Around the 10th of the month, I will release 2 sub-issues: the magazine content
minus the Personal Pages, and a separate Directory Issue which will contain all the Personal
Pages. This should make purchasing a copy of the magazine far more affordable for those who
have wanted to in the past, but couldn't afford it. Just a note: printing and shipping prices are
somewhat more reasonable through the new provider, MagCloud.
I want to thank all of you for your continued support for me, and the magazine. You are why I
do this, and it gives me great pride to think I am providing a venue for you to show the world the
quality of art we produce in this corner of the Southwest.
I would love to hear what you think of these changes. Your feedback is invaluable to me. Email
me ([email protected]), message me (facebook.com/stabley), or give me a call (716.310.8888).
Thank you!
Until next month, COLLABORATE, it makes great art!
