I am originally from Central NY. I started sewing
as a teenager who hated mainstream fashion
trends in the 1980s and searched the local thrift
stores for vintage and unique clothing to alter.
I started costuming in my High School theater
along with sets, props, lights and sound. I moved
to Rochester, New York in the late 90s and
started my first clothing line there.
Since then I have owned several different
clothing companies ranging in styles from
Gothic, Victorian, Renaissance, Cyberpunk &
Steampunk. After moving to Taos, New Mexico
in the Spring of this year I started my current
vintage inspired line Retro-Verte.
I have been involved in various film projects as
a wardrobe stylist as well as an extra in a major
motion film, “27 Dresses”.
I am looking forward to being very involved in the
local industry here in New Mexico.
