So often in photos throughout NM we see the bold, rich colors
of the Southwest. I wanted to see about bringing out a softness,
a more feminine look to some photos. My thought process was
that through beginning with a more demure
look, then through editing, I could bring
down the bold richness of our landscape,
and give a more feminine emotion to the
end result. Throughout the process, I
focused on the softness of the Southern
marshlands, the way in which the early morning
fog would spread over the landscape giving it a diffused look, the
haze just lingering in the cool morning breezes.
