COLLABORATION IS THE NAME OF THE GAME

elcome to the August issue of NM CliQ Magazine. What an incredible month of
local photo shoots! July was, by far, one of the most active months of collaborative
photography that I can recall in all the time I have been in this area.
There were four separate treks into the Jemez region, climbing mountains, crossing
streams and packing in wardrobe, makeup and photo gear, to shoot at a very remote
waterfall location. Over 20 models and probably as many photographers made the
30-45 minute hike, guided on all four outings by the intrepid photographer/wilderness
guide, Mitch Tillison. We are featuring a wide variety of the shots from those outings
in this edition.
Nicole Gumm organized and led at least one, if not two shoots at the San Antonio Hot
Springs.
Although technically in June, Tomaz Foto orchestrated a HUGE shoot at the OC Industrial
Warehouse, and the turnout there was fantastic. I have seen some of the incredible
images that have been shared from that shoot and they range from the classic glamour
shots, all the way to post-apocalyptic.
