Each of them remembered their loved ones in special ways, knowing that if they were there, they too would love Survivors Day. Nick Dell’Acqua wore a T-shirt to honor fallen officers from the Essex County Po- lice Department. The Collura family also wore T-shirts to honor Fair Lawn Police Department Officer Mary Ann Collura, who was lost in 2003. Pat Collura made sure that carloads of grandchildren and other family mem- bers attended the light-hearted event, knowing that her sister would have loved to be, too. “This would have been her favorite day,” Pat noted. “She would have taken off work to be here with the kids and having just as much fun.” 
