Naomi Nii is a 2017 scholarship recipient. She had dreams of becoming a nurse but found it challenging to study in English while managing a work schedule. Naomi’s husband, also a healthcare professional, inspired her to finally pursue her nursing dream. Through scholarships, I can put money toward tuition and travel to local student nurse con- ventions. I value the opportunities to network and prepare for post-graduation. Darlene Kuchinski-Donnelly, RN, MSN, CRNP is a 2015 recipient of the Fasick scholarship. She is a full-time educator in four nursing programs. Darlene thanks Mrs. Fasick for her generous donation to make this scholarship possible. My employer does not offer tuition reimbursement. This scholarship will help tremendously as I get one step closer to completing my doctoral work. Krista Nash is a 2015 recipient of the Einstein scholarship. She is a passionate volunteer in programs including Pocono Alliance, Toys for Tots, and Feed the Hungry. During high school, Krista was a member of the school band, chorus, and marching band. My nephew was born very sick. He required several surgeries and months of therapy. I was inspired by his nurses. I want to be the person that helps patients through their recovery.
