Newsletter May Instituto Mariano Moreno has opened new headquarters in Cali The School of Gastronomy Mariano Moreno came to Cali – the biggest city on the southwest of the country – and opened its new headquarters with the highest educational standards and the best infrastructures. This new educational space has 890 square meters on 3 levels, with capacity for 1,000 students. Teachers will be national and international recognized chefs. The new headquarters have kitchens with ovens and implement the latest technology, ensuring better training for both students and teachers; 2 demonstration rooms, 3 practical kitchens a nd 4 theoretical classrooms. Instituto Mariano Moreno is very proud to welcome the first group of students in the programs of dual certification Labor Technician kitchen and Technical Workers at Bakery. In addition to those Technical programs, all people will be able to access short cooking courses with themes defined as pastry, chocolate, sushi, chocolates and biscuits; Colombian besides Arabic, Mediterranean, Peruvian cuisine, among others. Launching event of the book written by Chef Luis Ernesto Martinez Teacher at Instituto Mariano Moreno, Chef Luis Ernesto Martinez aims to promote cultural heritage as a richness that must be preserved.
