FOR FSCZ 2014 Friday 8/8 – Statics day The day begun with the design judging. Once again, the team managed to impress the judges with the quality of work. The clear goals set along with the justified decision making processes and the knowledge depth of the team members really stood out. Following right after there was the cost judging and the “real case” scenario, on which the team should present an alternative building method of parts of our selection using 3D printing technologies. The team excelled despite the relatively high cost of the car, having as strong points the high detail in every cost sector and the excellent knowledge and justification required by the “real case” scenario. Just after the end of the cost judging the team started taking apart the car to solve the problem that has occurred during the last day, in order to pass the rain and brake test and be able to compete in the dynamic events that would start the day after. In the meanwhile, the Business plan presentation took place, where the team presented their business case, trying to convince a panel of judges to invest in our vehicle production. Feedback was good, as it did with Design and Cost, so the team had really high expectations. Cost judging Tilt test Greece |uopracingteam.com| [email protected]
