FEAS Secretariat and its members actively participated in the World Exchange Congress 2019. The event, which was organized by Terrapinn in partnership with the Capital Markets Authority of Lebanon, took place on 26 and 27 February 2019 in Beirut, Lebanon.
Over 400 exchange CEOs and executives from around the world: from tier one to frontier exchanges, clearing houses, capital markets organisations, authorities, technology providers to alternative exchange venues gathered in Beirut for two days of high quality discussions, all set around the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut.
FEAS Secretary General, Konstantin Saroyan moderated a panel discussion “Success of New Challenger Exchanges: Pros and Cons for the Industry Underdogs” and also gave a Chairman Introduction at World Exchange Congress 2019.
Hayk Yeganyan, from Armenia Securities Exchange, delivered a speech about the topic “How FinTech will engage cross border retails into securities trading”.
Hannes A. Takacs, from EBRD, spoke about the topic “Crowdfunding platforms - the new stock exchanges.
Idel Sabitov, from Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, spoke about the topic “How can Stock Exchanges diversify revenue streams”.
