Aerodynamics
The undertray is ready and placed on the car for the
first tests. Same holds true for our 3D printed cooling
ducts! The front wing parts are manufactured and are
being assembled at the moment. However, the rear wing
requires a redesign, implied by changes in the Formula
Student EV rules section, as the new TSAL rules render
the previous design illegal. Simulations have been done
and the new design is ready, manufacturing is expected
to start soon!
Brakes
The brake subsystem is ready, waiting to be tested in real
driving situations. The changes meant that the brake feel
is massively improved from the previous generations.
Some refinements are still to be made, but overall the
team is extremely happy with the result!
