The Next issue of the Newsletter is going to be about our most prestigious and premier institute, the flagship of HKE Society, namely M.R.Medical College. Hopefully the issue will soon be ready and will be made available with the New App. We will be uploading our old issues also on to this new App.
Dr.Anuradha Patil , Head of the Department of Pathology has kindly accepted to be the Issue Editor of Medical College and with her great initiative and enthusiasm we wish to bring out a great issue of the Newsletter. She will be ably assisted by Dr. Kiran Deshmukh from ENT Department.
Further, the reason for us to go for a fast commercial App was because it was found that people wanted a convenient and fast mode of access to our newsletter through their mobile phones alone. They were not inclined to access it through the society website which would be fast , or by opening the link sent by us which tended to be very slow. We therefore have now decided to make it available for them through a fast commercial App which will not be taxing on their time and their reading pleasure by being slow.
Now a word of appreciation for our colleagues who have made this issue possible would be appropriate. We will be un grateful if we fail to make a mention of two of our Professors from PDA College who were instrumental and were very helpful in bringing out this issue, the issue on students. And that was possible only because of their close and cordial relations with the students and student activities. One Prof.V.B.Hippargi of Mechanical Engineering Department who is deeply connected with students and is greatly respected by them and the another equally eminent and scholarly Professor Dr.Shridhar Pandey of Cement & Ceramic Department. The Newsletter is grateful to them. They have also suggested that this student issue need not be an one time effort but can continue on a regular basis as an Independent activity disengaged from regular Newsletter of HKE Society.
We need to remember two more great personalities on this occasion who have been constantly helping us right from the inception of this newsletter. They are virtually the un-official editors of this Newsletter. They provide us with constant suggestions and part take in all its activities. They are Prof. Sanjay Makal of PDA College, E & I Department and another a retired Principal of MSI College Prof. Narendra Badasheshi. We are grateful and have great respects to them. They are helping us with pure academic interest at their heart.
Soon Newsletter will be completing one year of its existence and we will be grateful to anyone who suggest how to celebrate this occasion.
