Karnataka Tech Entrepreneurship Summit-2019
A Three days workshop on Entrepreneurship called as“Karnataka Tech-Entrepreneurship Summit-2019” conducted by JNN college of Engg Shivamogga.
Hi , I am Narasimha Kulkarni (7th sem of ISE dept) and my team members are Kavyashree, Pavankumar . We attended a three days workshop on Entrepreneurship.
The KTES-2019 event held at Shivamogga was based on improvement of skills for students who want to become an entrepreneur, those who want to go for a startup and also suggestions for those who had already started their journey for entrepreneurship. We had the Karnataka tech entrepreneurship summit-2019 for three days where we learnt many new things and got suggestions from experts for our questions.
There were many Entrepreneurs who addressed us by imparting their knowledge about many things. Sri. Samir Kumar is the Managing director, Invent us India Banglore. He addressed us on catapulting innovation and funding for success of start-ups. We interacted with them about how to go for start-ups and how to choose partners before going for start-ups. He suggested for compromising. There was a panel discussion and interaction with people like Samir Kumar , Sandeep Agarwal,(Executive VP, Happiest Minds Tech ,Bang), Ramu T.S (founder & Director, Lekha Wireless technologies Pvt ltd, Banglore) and many others.
One more person Dr.S.Rangarajan (former Director, ISRO & CTO, Yami solution,USA) gave a wonderful talk on industry 4.0 manufacturing, defence, space, automative opportunites. The Principal of JNN Engineering College Dr. H R Mahawaswamy gave us the Information about Intellectual property for start-ups.
There was competition for students on Business plan in which we participated. We also participated in one more competition on Design thinking, addressed by S. Mahesh Pandit, founder (Rhytify Technologies bang) and our solution was selected based on voting of people. Dr.Laxmi Jagannathan (coo, Derbi, Bangalore) gave a speech on start up landscape in tier 2 tier3 cities. There were many invited talks, workshops, panel discussions from the entrepreneurs and all was very helpful. The Three Days event of KTES -2019 thus ended with these talks by experts from different regions and was extremely useful.
