ORREFORS
Orrefors enhances consumer experience and social meetings linked
to food and drink by developing beautiful crystal glass. This year,
much of our focus has been on different bar concepts where City,
designed by Martti Rytkönen, has become an international success. In 2017,
cooperation with Volvo has also been further developed, partly by expanding
the production of products to be installed inside the car, such as gear knobs
in crystal, as well as design cooperation with a "lifestyle" collection of various
crystal products, dubbed as Sarek. Here, our designer Lena Bergström has
worked close to Volvo's design team and developed a product line that takes
inspiration from the Lapplandish wilderness.
