helping his parents, descendants
of Lebanese/Syrian immigrants,
run a family business which
served as a kind of community
center for generations of Missis-
sippians of all backgrounds and

the alluring “Rena Lara.” Other
highs on the album include a
touching “Tender And Tough,”
the smooth “She Just Rolls With
Me,” and the melodic “I Don’t
Mind (Most Of The Time).” With
