On Sunday, September 10th, a great music festival will take place
in New Brunswick’s Boyd Park. You can catch Nalini & Sarini along
with Killer Shrimp, Vertical Fixation aerial acrobats, Cook Thugless,
The Anderson Council, Silent Knight, Sharief in Burgundy featur-
ing Sharief Hobley, and Hub City Stompers. DJ Don Dazzo (from
the Whirling Dervishes and Everlounge) will be spinning tunes be-
tween the sets at ROCK New Brunswick.
The festival’s will also feature delicious dishes and popular treats
of five food trucks and vendors. Patrons can enjoy the gourmet
grilled cheese of CheezeN, Italian-American favorites of Poppy’s
Kitchen, amazing Jamaican cuisine of Simply Jerk, refreshing
shaved ice of Hawaiian Husky and ice cream of beloved Mr. Softee.
In addition, there’s a DIY Market, busking artists, free community
workshops with Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership, LEGO Play,
and Brodsky Center for Innovative Print of Rutgers University’s
Mason Gross School of the Arts.
