can landscape,” this one-man show juxtaposes
ten predominantly gay characters in fourteen
vignettes. Moving, funny and eye-opening, The
Only Thing Worse… turns inside out the experi-
ences and perceptions surrounding gayness in modern America.
The characters question, contradict and especially challenge one
another’s credo of what “being gay” really means.
