New England Base Camp is open to the public and is a full service weekend
destination for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers and other youth groups. Base
Camps unique location makes it both remote and convenient. It is located
adjacent to the 7,000 acre Blue Hills Reservation and just 8 miles from downtown
Boston.
Parents and leaders love Scouting and appreciate all the program does for their
children. Here at Base Camp, we try to make planning scouting activities easy
and convenient for families and Scout units. We eliminate barriers and put the
excitement of Scouting in your hands. We cut no corners at Base Camp in
promoting the advancement of your youth in his or her Scouting career.
Each weekend hundreds of Scouts from all over the Northeast visit New England
Base Camp for unit activities, camping and additional services. And you can finish
the merit badges you started at Scout Summer Camp!
