Mark Rapp Joins Felling Trailers Inc. Felling Trailers Inc., an industrial and commercial trailer manufacturer has announced that Mark Rapp recently joined its organization. Mark Rapp now serves as a Product Manager for Felling Trailers’ Utility and Telecom Products. Mark comes to the company with more than a decade of sales and support experience dealing with investor-owned utilities, public utilities, cooperatives, contractors, government agencies and more. Rapp previously worked in the transport industry for a specialized trailer manufacturer with a strong focus on the utility and telecom markets. While there, Mark helped to develop and grow their Pole and Reel trailer product lines. Along with being a major contributor in growing the business revenue, Mark managed accounts of some of the largest investor-owned utilities in the United States. Now with Felling Trailers, Rapp will be responsible for developing and improving the technical and marketing aspects of Felling’s existing Utility and Telecom product lines. Initially, he will be working closely with Felling’s Engineering Team to refine and further develop their Utility and Telecom product lines. Rapp is glad to be part of the Felling Trailers’ team. • Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc. Acquires Towmaster, Inc. Monroe Truck Equipment, Inc. (“Mon- roe”) today announced it has ac- quired Towmaster, Inc., based in Litch- field, MN, a leading manufacturer of high-quality tag and large fifth-wheel trailers for the construction and rental markets. In addition, Towmaster is a manufacturer, distributor and installer of truck equipment for the municipal and commercial markets specializing in snow and ice-related equipment. Monroe is a designer, manufacturer, distributor and installer of specialized truck equipment. The company upfits heavy, medium and light-duty vehi- cles for municipal, commercial and fleet customers. Monroe is a portfo- lio company of Industrial Opportunity Partners, an operations-focused private equity firm based in Evanston, Illinois. The company will remain based in Monroe, Wisconsin. The acquisition of Towmaster will add the Litchfield, MN location to its installation facilities in Marshfield, WI, DePere, WI, Flint, MI, Joliet, IL and Louisville, KY. •
