Troy’s eyes were always peaked, his color pale. For three years I had been teaching stress management skills and how the mind, body and emotions work together to 113 children at a rural school in Oregon. E ach week I asked for their success stories demonstrating how they used the prior week’s skills. Troy never spoke up.
