Course Rating – PWGA in cooperation with the WGANC rates the women’s tees at all of the
Courses in Northern California. This ties into your handicap service, without those ratings for
women, you wouldn’t be able to post your Northern California scores.
Education
We offer Rules Clinics/Workshops to member clubs.
Area Workshops each year provide an educational opportunity for Rules Chair,
Handicap Chair, Tournament Chair and general members.

News and Articles
Newsletter – Notes and Quotes is published 3 times a year. Each member also gets news
delivered to their email box with the handicap eRevision twice each month.
Juniors – PWGA allows for junior members at all member clubs. There is no charge to the club
for the Handicapping of the Junior member. PWGA also supports a Grants program which
funds golf programs for Junior Girls throughout our region.
Benevolent Projects – we contribute annually to the following charities through club donations,
individual member donations and fundraising raffles.
UVS – Golf Swing Club a Golf Therapy program for Veterans.
