Voting shall be by ballot ( at the October meeting), or affirmation of any one nominee is
proposed and announced at the October meeting. A quoroum must be present and
majority vote.
The term of office shall not exceed two consecutive terms in the same office unless
waived by the membership.
In the event of the resignation of an officer, or the termination of her membership, a
successor shall be appointment by the Captain and ratified by the Board to fill the
unexpired term; except when there is a vacancy for Captain, the Co-Captain shall call
upon the Board to name a Captain.
Article VI – MEETINGS

These shall be determined by each club. They should include a meeting in September
and October to nominate and elect Officers for the next year.
a.
When it is necessary to require a vote of the membership, is a majority
vote of those members present as long as a quorum is in attendance.
b.
The Captain, or a majority of the Board of Directors shall call a special
meeting by posting a notice at least two (2) weeks in advance or
contacting by phone committee.

The general membership meetings shall be held at the club’s first monthly playday or at
the discretion of the Board and posted on the club’s bulletin board.
Article VII – DUES

Annual dues shall be determined each year by the needs of the club and shall include
PWGA dues. (List what is included here).
Dues shall be payable October 1 and delinquent November 1. A Renewal Application
Form shall be submitted with the dues so that information can be updated. Deletion of
nonrenewing members from the computer system will be in December for the coming
year.
Article VIII – AMENDMENTS TO BY-LAWS
These By-Laws may be amended by a majority vote of the members present at a general or
special meeting, provided that the proposed amendment has been posted for thirty (300 days.
Article IX – STANDING RULES
1.
Play must be in accordance with USGA Rules. Any player in violation of the rules will
be disqualified for that round.
a.
Players must submit dated, signed and attested scorecard at end of round to
tournament chairman.
b.
All players must putt out on every hole.
