Just as it did on this day in 1776, the future success of our nation does
depend on the character of its citizens. It is up to each and every one of us to
be of good character, to be fully informed and engaged in preserving, building
and protecting our nation; to exercise our responsibility and right to vote at
every opportunity in order to ensure that “we the people” of the United States
of America shall remain forever “… one nation under God, indivisible, with
liberty and justice for all.”
