The Lord came on earth so that we might know Him as a visible God, with
a new understanding of Divine truth. He asks us to live by that truth and be
made new by it. In spite of everything that confronts and challenges us in our
lives, He is always there saying to us, “Be of good cheer, for I have overcome
the world.”
His enduring gift to us was simply coming on earth and becoming real for
us, overcoming the hells and forever leading us with the promise: “Behold, I
make all things new.”
