So what is your faith and what is your purpose? I invite you to contemplate
these two related things, and maybe just focus on one facet of each. If we could
each finish the two sentences, “One thing I know for sure about the Lord is…”
and “One thing I know I can do for other people is…”, we’re well on our way.
We close with the words the Lord said right before He annunciated His
“new commandment” to love others as He has loved us: “These things I have
spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.”
(John 15:11) Amen.
Building Lots for Sale in Canada
Chalon Estates, the land management corporation associated with the
Carmel New Church in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, has launched its
new web site: www.chalonestates.ca
Chalon is planning to complete development in 2013 on the 12 large
building lots on the proposed Evenstone Court, just north of and down
the wooded hill from the church building.
A map of the proposed development and photos of the current
undeveloped site can be viewed on the web site.
Lot prices are expected to be in the $210,000 - $250,000 range.
Chalon has a mandate to sell these lots only to members of the Carmel
New Church (or those in the process of becoming members) at
prevailing market prices. However, Chalon will be unable to hold and
carry these vacant lots indefinitely, and some lots will have to be sold
within a certain time frame (likely 6-12 months) after they have been
developed and serviced.
