deciphering of ministers’ hand-written forms, with many unfamiliar names.
It is especially nice to have Noelene connected because her late husband, the
Rev. Donald L. Rose, was a loved and respected editor of the Life for 25 years.
Sisters Gwen McQueen Asplundh and Judy McQueen Hyatt are
as detailed and meticulous as any proofreaders could be – right down to
the last comma. Thanks to Judy’s daughter, Meryl, they have even elevated
proofreading to google.docs, so they can see each other’s work and send it all
to me electronically. It’s a whole new world, but it works.
Serena Silverman Sutton is the computer whiz and design magician who
takes all of the copy and photographs and transforms them into the attractive
and inviting issues you see every other month. She is a cheerful, willing spirit
and a true professional.
