        We are in the business of helping to raise girls. Our desire is to help them grow into caring, compassionate, kind women, who are morally grounded and spiritually motivated. We will host an open house for consultants and Heads of Schools in our outlying community. We want them to see what we do, and how we do it. They will be observing classes, talking to administration, and getting first-hand proof that we are doing it right when it comes to single-sex education. help all girls, freshmen to seniors. Early in their high school career we should be laying the foundation for them so that when they become seniors they are ready to read Conjugial Love and hopefully find it relevant to their lives. So far we have done quite a bit with our study. We have read Conjugial Love, as well as theses written by Kay Alden and Hilary Bryntesson for their Master’s of Arts in Religious Studies (MARS) program. We have broken into groups and discussed Conjugial Love and these theses. We are working hard to focus on the most important aspects, boiling everything down to the basics. Now we are reading The Conjugial Culture, written by Alaina Johns Mabaso. This is a very important book, as it is written from the perspective of a former Girls School student. The book is honest and tough, and hopefully through reading it and with what we have learned, we can understand why some of our 43
