Come Join in the Fun!
On Saturday, May 16th at 3:00 P.M. the Penn Valley community and friends will come out to celebrate our Western Heritage and recognize area schools, service organizations, western riders, youth groups, businesses and more. The annual Penn Valley Rodeo Parade, hosted by the Penn Valley Area Chamber of Commerce will begin at Western Gateway Park, proceed down Penn Valley Drive and end at the Penn Valley Rodeo Grounds located on Spenceville Road. Be sure to bring a comfortable chair and find a shady spot along the parade route to watch the colorful procession pass by. The parade announcer’s stage will be located near the intersection of Penn Valley Drive and Spenceville Road. Please note that Penn Valley Drive from the Park to the Village Center and Spenceville Road at the Rodeo Grounds will be closed from 2:45 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. Arrive early to park and get the best viewing location. You will find parking available on streets and in parking lots along Penn Valley Drive and Spenceville Road. If you’ve always wanted to march or ride in a parade—everyone is welcome and the entry is FREE!
