The backbone of business
Forever etched into the consciousness of data centre owners , security is an issue that will always be an important consideration . From potential attacks from within and outside the data centre , with increasingly complex attempts for doing so , it ’ s important to remain one step ahead of attackers . And this is all before we get to what ’ s quickly becoming the buzzword for 2017 : ransomeware .
One way many businesses outside of the data centre industry are able to enhance their own security is using IP-based security systems , and in this issue we ’ ll be looking at some of the ways this technology is implemented . These cloud-based options are just one of the ways companies are embracing the cloud , and we ’ ll also be looking at some of the considerations that need to be made when making the move in a wider sense .
