Upon positioning in the data centre, inter-cabinet MPO trunk cables need only be plugged into the cabinet’s connectivity ingress cassette to link all 10 and 40Gb connections to the core network. An optional rear door heat exchanger that removes up to 45kW of heat is available and overhead pathway containment for both copper and fibre fixes directly to dedicated supports on the cabinet’s top cover. With this approach, cabinets become simple building blocks: pre-cabled, pre-labelled and ready to use.
