joins Epsilon’s SIP
Trunk Federation
Epsilon, a privately owned
global communications

announced Imagine Group,
one of Ireland’s leading

providers, has joined the SIP
Trunk Federation.
The SIP Trunk Federation
is a group of service provider
partners that collaborate
to offer end-to-end SIP
Trunking capabilities across
the globe. By entering the
Federation, Imagine Group
is able to extend the reach
of its regional SIP Trunking
solutions beyond its home
markets and capture new
revenue opportunities.

the Network Cabling Vendor of the
Year title at the Network World
Middle East Awards 2017.
The event took place at the
prestigious Habtoor Grand Resort
and Spa in Dubai, where leading
vendors and end users from
across the Middle East gathered to
celebrate the very best the industry
has to offer in the region.
Now in its eighth year, Network
World Middle East Awards recognises
and celebrates networking
excellence. It honours IT companies
and business professionals that
demonstrate innovative leadership
and provide innovations that produce
measurable results. This year’s
winners were chosen via public
online voting from a list of finalists

Hotel Wi-Fi specialist secures
£1.7m to fund growth overseas
Airangel has secured a £1.7m funding package from Santander Corporate & Commercial to
support its further growth.
Based in Warrington, Airangel, which has recently opened a new office in Dubai, is
expanding rapidly across Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.
Dean Wilkinson, Airangel’s chief executive, said the company’s software platform,
MyAirangel, is now the number one solution in the hotel industry, with clients including IHG,
Malmaison, Hotel du Vin, the Eden Project, Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts.
MyAirangel is also widely used in private rental sector apartment buildings with large scale
deployments in several prestigious developments in London.
The cloud based platform enables guests to access fast, high quality Wi-Fi connections,
in addition to providing hoteliers and property owners wi th valuable data insights to enable
them to engage more with customers and personalise the guest experience.
Mr Wilkinson said, ‘In the digital age, connectivity is central to the guest experience and
a key factor in people’s choice of hotel. MyAirangel offers a high quality solution and not
surprisingly, is in growing demand from leading hotel chains and venues around the world.’
Airangel, which employs around 40 staff, was set up by Mike Gardner, the current
chairman, in 2002. It now manages Wi-Fi connections to more than 100,000 hotel rooms or
apartments in 27 countries, and has 18 million registered users.
