ESSENTIAL SELECTION The splice is right For the installation of a switching cabinet in an industrial environment, Metz Connect has introduced the new OpDAT REG S for mounting on TH35 rail. The splice distributor is available in three versions and is suitable for a mixed arrangement of fibre optic and copper – thus, there are several mounting possibilities on the housing. The OpDAT S V version is intended for preassembled cables and OpDAT S Splice C is perfect for 12 splices with a crimp splice holder, while OpDAT S Splice S is used for 12 splices with a shrink splice holder. The mounting rail devices feature a flat construction with sloping drain (connections facing downward), a particularly stable mounting rail support and a spacious cabling area. The splice distributor is suitable for installation of pigtails or preassembled installation cables. Cables can be fed from top or bottom, and an optional M20 strain relief is also available as an option. In addition, the splice distributor can be labelled with the help of identification strips.
