wireless networks
Up for the challenge
Key points
D-Link has significantly grown its business wireless AC product
portfolio. Gone are the days of standalone access points (AP).
Now D-Link offers managed outdoor APs that are capable of
withstanding harsh environments, such as the DAP-3410 that
excels in connecting separate networks that are not joined by a
physical cable.
To counteract the advancements made in AP technology,
D-Link recently launched its new DWC-2000 wireless controller.
This offers a variety of features including guest and corporate
access with multiple SSIDs, Guest Captive Portal and a Free
Integrated Payment Gateway. The DWC-2000 is the perfect
solution for any business looking to enhance its wireless
network with minimal service disruption and with a great deal
of scalability, starting with eight access points and scaling to
support 1024 APs in a clustered configuration.
Also new and available is a free cloud enabled wireless AP
management tool, designed to create and manage multi-site,
multi-tenancy networks via D-Link’s Central Wi-Fi Manager
(CWM). CWM is built for businesses with enterprise-level
features such as bandwidth optimisation, captive portal and
radio frequency optimisation integrated as standard to help
satisfy the needs of any business.
