We , reaping the Earth ’ s bounty , as death reaps too many in untimely moments , because we do not seek durable and sustainable development in consciousness , but in economic growth which sustains and enriches the few at the expense of the many . Our collective Mother-She , the “ Ultimate Environment ,” Mother Earth , this ecological all encompassing genius ‘ spirit ,’ which has supported us in gravity and shielded us from cosmic annihilation by the orange layer of the troposphere , the white stratosphere , and the blue haze of the mesosphere . The troposphere 33 being 99 % water vapour and giving us changeable weather phenomenon , and the life giving waters through evaporation and transpiration .
The plant , flower , corn , wheat , shrub , tree , and weed , taking unto itself a tiny sustaining amount to fuel growth and metabolism , and their ritual arching , spiralling , growth to the sun , evaporate through transpiration 99-99.5 % of the remaining water . And the bowering oak on any given year as we sit in her shade is transpiring 151,000 litres of water each year . The stomata of the leaves , by using so little water , diffuse carbon dioxide for photosynthesis . Thus does humanity breathe , drink and eat , find our being , and becoming nourished and sustained , by Her Grace , whilst languishing in the conceit and delusion that we control our environment . The converse is true , thus our violent traumatised history , and rare lives of embodied enlightenment , could be scorched in a moment of insanity . She , Mother Earth , would prevail , we would not . For we have not honoured Her “ with gratitude ” for our “ spirituality [ has ] become hypocritical .” 34
