I met with Bishop Samuel Ndaname
of Sierra Leone earlier this year when he
attended a small diplomatic reception
at my home in London. He had learned of
the NewEarth Project and was interested
in learning how it might be of benefit to
his country in West Africa. We discussed
a number of geo-political and socioeconomic concerns as they related not only
to Sierra Leone, but to Africa as a whole.
A curious thing he said to me was that
one man had destroyed his nation.
When I enquired what kind of titan
could possibly be held responsible for
such an epic calamity, he answered
"Leonardo DiCaprio”.
He was serious.
