Truth is not reflected in the minds of the individual or individuals so agreeing, then no explicit consent was given and no Trust was established. Tacit or implied consent is an assumption that one agrees to something and is a failure of one or more individuals to duly inform and disclose the Truth to others affected by their actions. For example, if you live with others in a house, and want to play your music loudly, you will be affecting all the others in the house, and therefore it would be incumbent upon you to establish a contractual relationship, a co-creation, so to speak. In order to gain explicit consent, you would need to communicate your desire to the other housemates in order to ensure that their explicit agreement has been established. This is an honorable Contract. Conversely, if you play your music, and none of your roommates say whether or not they agree or disagree, then it is assumed or implied that they agree. Their inaction is an assumption on your part that they agree to be affected by your loud music; we would consider this to be an example of tacit consent. Statutory Code or Policy A Consequence of Consent Since explicit consent is an acknowledgement of the Truth by another, their free will is allowed to operate and no harm may be exacted based upon the established conditions of the agreement. This is a policy or procedure: the methods employed in order to bring about a unified desire. In order for a code of conduct to be honorable, explicit consent must be given, which is a reflection of the Trust established between any individual affected by an undertaking or
