See You at GROWS!

Jake Pierson is NENA’s representative to the New England GROWS board of directors. Below, he shares the reasons why he finds GROWS to be a valuable experience.

Education and networking are top priorities for everyone at Pierson Nurseries. We invest a lot of time and money in attending industry events across the country – and New England GROWS is at the top of our list! It’s a world-class event held in our own backyard and I am proud to be a part of it.

Let me tell you what I like most about GROWS:

• This is where our entire industry comes together. At GROWS, we have the chance to step outside the day-to-day, catch up with old friends, and make brand new connections that will serve us well throughout the year.

• This is where we find business skills, strategies, and solutions that increase our team’s knowledge – and our bottom line. At GROWS, we learn from the best and the brightest. I’m particularly psyched to spend a day with Marty Grunder. His business seminar on Thursday is going to be a game-changer for everyone in that room!

• As a 25-year exhibitor at GROWS, we know this is the place to get business done! Attendees come to GROWS to compare products, meet new vendors, discover the latest technology, and strike solid deals that make them more profitable and productive. For our part, we connect with customers, meet new prospects and feel good about supporting an event that consistently gives back. All of the exhibitors at GROWS support our local industry and, in turn, our association. So be sure to thank them for their support and give them your business. They are a huge part of the equation!

• This is where we meet the workforce of tomorrow. GROWS’ Future Leaders program attracts hundreds of next generation green industry professionals. We invest in this program and have met many prospective employees. We’re building a solid employee pipeline one student at a time!

Knowledge and business-building experiences are everywhere at New England GROWS – and you’ll want to take advantage of every opportunity. Gain new perspective, discover the resources you need, improve your team’s productivity and keep your business strong and profitable by attending GROWS.

I’ll see you there!
